just be quiet and feel it around you

January 8th-10th
While entering the new year; a time to honour and sanctify the return of the light, we have been noticing a need to descend further down into the Intra-Lands where no sun-gleams reach. The Intra-Land, where categories used to describe the world collides, meanings become exhausted and personal identities outworn.
"I" become the stranger the more we try not to be. (What is this place?)
Our seemingly enveloped body turns inside out; senses being enhanced; images occur; energy of matter continues through the waves of sound. Wavy
Drawing a distinction between subject<->object; not possible,

There is a lingering feeling that we may have forgotten something. Something that has resided in the dark (for too long, it needs to be brought back into the Sol). The necessity of forgetting that you ever was behind your eyelids, only could be
Fire isn't the only light that is, misty-purple-lightning. Flesh is light

In relation to the exhibition we have recorded a conversation about altered states of consciousness, where we share our experiences. The discussion goes into topics as psychedelics, sleep paralysis, parallel lives, and transformation.

Damla Kilickiran is an artist currently living in Oslo. Drawing inspiration from narratives and cosmologies within spiritual traditions, her work meditates upon topics related to alternate states of being as a method for image production and knowledge. Often leading ones thoughts to automatism, focusing on the thresholds of language within the introspective body and its relation to the world.
Viktor Pedersen is an artist working in Oslo. He works interdisciplinary with performance, text, sculpture, video, sound and music. Pedersens practise involves approaching non-human intelligence to investigate how humans relate to nature. By taking an animistic view, he creates narratives that personify biological organisms, or create alter-hybrid-egos. For example; an alien that comes from another dimension, a medium for a fungus, or the diversity of bacterias in the body.
